Personality:
Kaede is a tween and embraces it. She's bratty, childish, loves her stuffed animals and her mood can be easily soiled if something minor happens that isn't in her favor. She has idols, crushes, draws and skates during her spare time. She meddles her way into things that concerns her and acts like what you would expect from somebody her age.
However, when it comes to her father she actively lashes against him, calling him out whenever possible and being assertive near him. But she has her reasons. Her father is rarely home, barely able to schedule time to visit due to his demanding job. And even though she knows this, and recently found out the details of said job, she can't really comprehend it, being so young its hard not be selfish about it. Her dad also treats her the same way as a little kid when her mother died and that drives her crazy. Even though at the present time their relationship is being mended, its still a strained relationship that has been going on for most of Kaede's life because of all the mistrust built against him.
On top of that she has a deathly fear of being lonely and left alone by herself with no one to lean on. Once again, these fears aren't unfounded, her mom is dead, her father isn't around and her sole primary caretaker is her aging grandmother who won't be around forever in her life. When she is reminded of this, she can go berserk and worrisome until she is reassured. She is fiercely loyal to anybody she is close to, even her own father and will do her best to help them.
Like her father, she also feels no issues with breaking the rules, social norms or directly putting herself in danger as long as its for a good cause and the end justifies the means. She exhibits confidence in her strengths, even if its somewhat hindered by her young age, and proud of her hero lineage.
Why is your character a good fit for the setting of Soul Campaign, and what will they do once they are in the game?
Kaede could easily fit into a hero type to save people, even if she never entertained herself with the idea before. While her papa will reject to the idea of her fighting on the front lines, she'll gain a better understanding of what her father's duties was, strengthen their bonds while forming others. Essentially she could grow up and be less of a brat with some gained perspective. And since Kotetsu still treats like a fragile flower, she would use the city to rebel but also become stronger and independent because she's ready to be a teenager already gosh.
List the abilities your character will still have in Soul Campaign:
None, her powers will be gone. She'll be just an average ten year old sans her newly gain meister abilities.
List the weaknesses your character will gain (or lose) in Soul Campaign:
Her power to copy other people's powers will be gone. This isn't really a big deal though, since her powers are pretty random and it is difficult for her to control said powers.
Well that and she's freaking ten years old. She's not strong and has any fighting skills. She's just small and somewhat more agile then most ten year olds from her figure skating hobby.

Can somebody tell me where the shopping district is? The clothes here are so dull I can't stand to look at them anymore. I need cute and colors to mix and match!
[She lets out a puff of frustrated air.]
And Dad won't even let me train to become a meister whatever. So lame, I'm stuck here all day while everybody else is having fun. I thought this place could help me prove that I'm not weak anymore...
Third-Person
Kaede awoken from her sleep and was submerged in complete darkness. Did she wake up in the middle of the night? No, this was becoming clear once her eyes adjusted the limited lighting in the room. She audibly gasped when the large statues were outline near her, never seeing anything quite like up close. She reached out, one small touch out of curiosity, ignoring all the caution tape.
Surveying the room, she found the set of heavy doors. What was this place? It was like a dungeon out of the fantasy stories she read in her books. No doubt, she wasn't at home or possibly even Sternbild. Maybe she was captured by some rogue NEXTs from Ouroboros as a grudge against her father, as it wouldn't be the first time this week that happened. And it felt so cold in here she had to shiver, or was it fear that made her do it?
Knowing she had to at least try it, she went for the doors and pushed. No dice. She pushed harder. "Dad?! Grandma?! ...Anybody?!" She called out to whoever could hear her outside of the thick stone walls. Again it proved to be fruitless. As a desperate measure she growled and tried to activate her NEXT powers. Since the last person she touched was Daddy, it would give her the right boost towards busting open these doors, property damage be damned.
But the tell-tell blue glow and power boost never came; she sank like a rock on the floor. Why? Why now did her powers give up on her? Did they go away already? Tears covered her face and she curled up wishing that her mother was around to comfort her again. Not more then five minutes after she gave up hope, she heard the sound of a television roaring into life. She looked up when the screen's bright life illuminated the whole area.

Not really anything important (nor has it been confirmed) but Kaede knows Japanese and English because she has a Japanese family and lives in a small Japanese town in America. She was probably taught Japanese alongside English.
